Welcome to Scottish Water Solutions and Scottish Waters Construction Health and Safety Best Practice Webpage.  The Best Practice Forum is a discussion and debate facilitated by Scottish Water Solutions and attended and participated by the major contractors who carry out construction work for either Scottish Water Solutions Ltd (SWS)  or Scottish Water's Capital Investment Delivery (CID).  The purpose of the forum is to identify best practice for traditional areas or activities during construction that may cause concern or for common causes of accidents.       The topics discussed may also be linked to Health and Safety Executive (HSE) campaigns.  Contractors are encouraged to present their method for dealing with the selected area or activity that has been chosen from the previous meeting.

The information on this webpage is sorted into construction categories (detailed to the right).    These categories   have subsections containing information relating to any Safety Bulletins, recent Accidents, relevant SWS Arrangements etc.
